11/09/2020 - Studland and Durlston
In the morning I went on a mainly off-road cycle ride to Studland. This involved ascending to Brenscombe Hill and Nine Barrow Down and then descending on a track to reach the road to Studland. from here I cycled along the road to the ferry terminal at South Haven Point. On the return I crossed Godlingston Heath, which was impassable for a bike in many places due to a mix ox sandy terrain, deep ruts, gorse and steep ascents - but I did see 2 Dartford Warblers along the way. Once past the golf course I found a much better track to Rempstone farm and then returned to Corfe on. minor roads. 28.7km 2.5 hrs
