Sunday 26th June 2006: Hawkridge - Exmoor
The morning trap agin provided me with a new moth species: Hedya ochroleucana. This is supposedly common but, although it is quite similar to other Hedya species, I don't think I've overlooked it in the past.
After breakfast we drove off to Exmoor and did a 3 hour walk around the small village of Hawksridge. This involved some moorland and some riverine woodland. Cloudy throughout but thankfully the rain held off until we were driving home.
