08/09/2020 - Cycle route from the cottage in Corfe 21.8km mostly off-road
I headed west from Corfe Castle ascending to the top of Knowle Hill and then along the its ridge, then further east after a descent and reascent along Ridgeway Hill, past Grange Arch. I had intended to continue west to Worbarrow but the military range was active so I found a route through Steeple Leaze farm with a tricky ascent and descent eventually arriving at Kimmeridge Bay. From here I partly cycled and partly pushed the bike along the South-west coast path as far as and including the steep ascent of Houns-tout cliff. From here I turned north on a good path to Kingston and then onto the track and road through Blashenwell Farm, across Corfe Common and back to the cottage - a very strenuous morning's cycle.

10/09/2020 - Wareham and Portland
We spent the morning wandering around Lodmore RSPB reserve - where we found a few Ruff and a Great Egret. And the afternoon briefly at Portland Bill - where we had an ice cream and a cuppa tea.
