Day 9: 31/05/2015 Glasdrum Wood NNR
Another cold night with only 10 moths of 4 species trapped - but one was new to me: Glaucous Shears - a northern moorland species and one of my targets for the trip.
It rained steadily all morning so we chilled, read and I started my holiday jigsaw.
After lunch it brightened up - we went for a short walk in Glasdrum Wood where we found 2 Chequered Skippers and a Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary. Had a scenic drive and short walk round the Appin peninsula and returned to base.
