Day 4: 26/05/15 Bynack More (Munro)
The moth trap had only 7 moths but these included 2 Ochreous Pugs (new to me) and a Scarce Prominent (which I'd only seen once before)
Today we tackled our first Munro of the trip. A long but pleasant and evenly graded walk with a path all the way to the top. Quite windy on the summit ridge but not enough to blow Alison over. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera with me and had to make do with the phone camera.
Bynack More: Distance: 22.5km, Ascent: 756m, Summit altitude: 1090m
Wildlife highlights: Golden Eagle - a pair; Ptarmigan 5 males and one female on a nest by the path on the summit ridge.
