Day 6: 23/06/2015 - Durlston Head to St Albans Head
Set out at 05:45 to retrieve a trap left at Penn's Weare. I was pleased to find two Portland Ribbon Waves. The east coast of Portland is the only place in Britain where this species is known to breed, but it does turn up as a rare migrant occasionally. Thyme Pug was also new for me.
After breakfast we headed off to Durlston. Did an all day walk from there to St Albans head and then back via Worth Matravers. Weather stayed fine all day. Found Lulworth Skipper and Small Blue amongst the butterflies and a slow worm and a roe deer.
