Meall na Teanga (917m) and Sron a Choire Ghairbh (937m) - 23/09/2021
Distance: 19km (6km bike, 13km boot); Ascent: 1258m; Time 4h45m
Park at the end of the public road at Kilfinnan. From here there is 3km forest track, which I cycled, before the walk into the hills proper begins, alongside Allt Glas Dhoire. This is a very nice trail up to the beleach between the two Munros; partly rocky partly boggy. At the beleach I found Sron a Choire Garbh to be in the clouds while Meall na Teanga appeared clear - but this was only because the latter is obscured by Meall Dubh - both were in the clouds. I did Meall na Teanga first - although this has a slightly lower summit it is a longer steeper route with a less good path. As both were without a view I simply ascended to the summit cairn and turned around; times from beleach to summit and back to beleach were 1h20m for Meall and 50m for Sron. The descent was easy and once back on the bike very rapid. In sunny conditions with good views this would certainly take longer and be even more enjoyable (the Walk Highlands guide time is 7-9hrs)
