Wednesday 29th June 2016:
The day started well with a new moth for me: Argolamprotes micella. This is a very local species found only in SW England and S.Wales - and, for a member of the generally drab and nondescript family Gelechiidae, it is comparatively attractive.
Unfortunately it rained pretty much all day. We did go into South Molton briefly to do a bit of shopping and I had an hour's cycling in the afternoon during a break in the precipitation, but apart from that we had a day of rest.
