Di Linh Pass
Day 19: Tuesday 2nd April 2019 (continued)
On arrival at the De Linh pass (altitude 1150m) we met a local entrepreneur who had set up 3 viewing screens in the forest, in the territory of some (otherwise) very hard to see birds. At the first we were treated to a pair of Blue Pitta and a delightful Treeshrew. At the second an Orange-breasted Laughingthrush came to see us before we'd even got behind the screen. And the third was so good we came back to it after lunch - here we found Siberian Thrush, Indochinese Green Magpie, Black-headed Parrotbill, White-browed Scimitar Babbler and Mugimaki Flycatcher. |
